Jabeur was born and raised in Tunisia, and started her trailblazing tennis career by winning the junior Grand Slam title in 2011, the first for a North African woman. 2022 proved to be somewhat of a breakthrough year in that she reached the final of both Wimbledon and the US Open, but lost both. She reached the 2023 Wimbledon FInal but despite being the favourite this time, she lost again. She currently has four WTA titles.
